well 1st off i got an 01' civic lx 4dr AT, i want to make it a 5spd, i dont know if some of u have done this here but i asked a guy at my nearest tuner shop, he said he cant give me a price but he thinks maybe a little bit more than 1k it'll cost me, i was like woah!, so my question is, if u have done this convertion, HOW MUCH DID IT COST U? or HOW MUCH SHOULD IT COST???? thanks

Thats a good quote you got because i was looking into the same thing. I got a quote for 2500 CDN which is a little more than 2000 US. I would just sell my car and re-buy it in manual but i've already done A LOT of suspension work and modified it to a point that there's no going back.

$1000, seems cheap, hell the tranny alone will cost you more, not including the clutch, clutch booster. etc. honestly i go with the you get what you pay for, so i think i would go for somewhere which is more realistically priced.

wow 2k thats alot, form what i think, i know a guy on here i think its "importracer2123" he said he found his whole convertion for 400, he just had to buy cables seprate, and he siad i just had to look around, but i'm also looking for used part, im not talking about brand new tranny,brand new clutch,no i just want it desent, and to be 5spd, but i was thinking like maybe $800 but i guess i was wrong

yeah, i was also thinking i'll just sell my car, and buy a 5spd car and save me money, but NO! i'm attach to my car just like im pretty sure u guys are too, and this is my baby, i put in work in it and i love it, and i put so much in that i cant go back to new, so does any1 here live around LA thats a mechanic that can help me out,
my plans are: 5spd convertion, than going turbo

You can do it on a budget, if you're not in a hurry to get the parts. You can go junk yard hoping, or look around online. Cause all bran new parts will cost you.

WOW , now thats what im talking about like $500, so any1 near LA that can help me out, hey Varner, where did u find ur swap for that price?, or if anything, can u guys give me a list of the EXACT parts i would need, maybe i can go on a mission and look for them, at the junkyard or ebay or sumthing, because i'mnot willing to spend 1k or over 1k on this swap, thats just too much,
