vietstylez will become famous soon enough
rain gets the pipes wet, which in turn causes them to expand. bigger pipes = closer to frame = rattle

man, that is hard to imagine, i didn't realize there was such a close tolerance.
I have had my RSR EX MAg for 2 years now with no problems.

Yeah it really depends on the catback... Most have pretty good clearance, but there are some that just knock all the time. I've had both. The obx catback rattled a little, but when I picked up the Thermal R&D from gearbox, I had no problem. Its really just the length of the pipes and where each specific company put the bends in the pipe. Even a slightest tweek and bend changes an angle and things just fit too close.

hrmm i still think even after u have tighten up the bolts u may or may not have leakes around the cat-mid pipe and rear piping-mid piping. cause basically all u are doin is pullin it down and the way the piping connects with each other is meant to sit one way basically and any other way may cause a leak. anyways i think the cat is the problem (not sure if thats cat-back) cause some pplz have diff cats or even just left the oem on and had no problem and some did w/ aftermarket ones. i guess im gonna have to try the twist and pull strategy on my exhaust nd see if that works.

i have this issue with my stock exhaust on my 01 hitting my neuspeed x brace. i have put dynamat on the x-brace but that just made it a deep rattle instead of a high ting.
