Wiper Arm Removal

Hey guys, I was trying to remove the 2 wiper arms to repaint it, but I cant seem to get it off after removing the black cap n nut. Is there like special way of removing it? I thought it would be easy removing them but they wont budge.

If your gonna "pry" anything off, be careful. You could easily damage the plastic peices around that.

should easily come off. Once you remove the cap, you remove the nut and remove the wiper arm.

K after using alot of force it came off. Now can I take the arm n remove each section of it? Ex: the upper arm, lower arm, joint and spring.

Got it off, already painted, n back on. Tho I over painted n there was these lil things that looked like cracks. Oh well, I'll fix it up next time, I got enough paint fumes for a while. Plus I remounted my driver side wiper arm 1 spot higher b/c everytime I pull it up when Im washing my car or for whatever the reason, the wipers hit the passenger wiper arm.
