if you're just a noob then i'd take it to the shop and get it done there.
line the spoiler hole with the trunk, there should be an area on the bottom of the trunk on each side, line them up and drill. after you have aligned everything, screws in, make sure you seal around the screws to prevent leadking.
also, there should be a piece of foam piece that goes in between the spoiler and the trunk, make sure it's there.
if you have led in the spoiler, then i guess you'll have to splice the brake wire and connect them.

yeah I wouldn't trust any shop I had to take my car back again and again for about 6 months after they finished the initial repairs when I had my crash. they most likely dont know anymore then you do how to install it try it yourself.
thnx guys for the links....I see its mainly abt drilling, and drilling at the right place without scratching anything else.
OK so once the hole is drilled, do i need to put some rust paint or something? The guide says put some touch up paint, but it doesn't say which one. Please advice....

so you're saying it's best to do it yourself and risk having to spend even more money to have a shop repair the hole and reinstall the spoiler if you f uck up?
