using lx tranny in ex model

has anyone here done this? with the correct amount of power, will it be better with the lx tranny? like lets say turbo... I replaced my last tranny with a lx one thinking i was receiving a ex one but ended up being lx one with longer gears. is this better since i could go higher? im still using my ex ecu and there seems to be no problems except for different trannys.

If I was building the "ultimate" d-series 7thgen i would probablly use a lx tranny.

stl01civic is an unknown quantity at this point
For turbo lx tranny is better. Longer gears.
All d17 are the same, meaning you can use any tranny you want.
