Question on Rims with Eibach Pro-Kit....

I was wondering if I need to get new shocks if I were to get 17" rims with only the Eibach Pro-Kit as a mod for my suspension?
Or should I just get 16's....?
Also, is there gonna really be that big of a differnce between 16 and 17's...
thanks.

Huge difference between 16's and 17's and you should always upgrade your shox if you plan on replacing springs.

You should also buy struts. i lowered mine with sportlines and i had to wait 2 months bfor kyb made there 2001 civic struts two months on blown struts was not a good thing, save up and buy good struts koni or kyb's are good. and go for the 17's, it just looks a whole lot better. 7th gen civic's have a huge wheel gap, even my 17's sometimes look tiny.

How many fingers is the wheel gap with 17" with 205/40/17 and Eibach Pro-Kits?

I was understood that you should have to replace your shocks if you had less then a 1.5 inch drop and since with the pro-kit, it only gives me a 1 inch drop, i didn't think i needed new shocks...

i also mainly wanted to ask if getting 17's wouldn't mean getting new shocks.
what do you think?
