Headlight cover swap.

ok, so i did DIY black out headlights. it was all fine till the outside of the headlight lenses got messed up. Now i have an old set of halo(angel eye ) projectors from ebay. i was wondering if anyone swapped just the outside part of the headlights from an an aftermarket headlight to a stock one. the difference i see is the parking light cuz on the stock one it sticks out.

so if anyone has done this before or knows anything, please help

Never had a set of Projectors...do the inside mounting holes and stuff match up? I am thinking this wont work!! What exactly happened to your stock ones??

you may be able to just get a plastic scratch remover and at least minimize the scratch. Try Meguiars PlaticX

http://www.meguiars.com/estore/produ...ectionID=15101

the worst that can happen is you spend 4.99 on a bottle and use it for something else later on. it is abrasive so it will minimize the scratch, but will take a few applications. by the way, i dont think swapping the projector lens to the stock lights will work because of the mounting points and also the popped out section because of the round parking light.
