Tight clutch padel?

I have recently been to HK and let my friend in Houston took over my car for a month. After I came back, he told me that my clutch is very tight. What's the problem here? My car is around 70k and it is tight and (heavy?)?

You let your friend drive your car, he's not used to it because his car must have a mushy clutch.
Its relative. I think my dad's BMW has a stiff clutch COMPARED TO MINE.
You put 70K on the car, if you don't know what it should feel like by now, something ain't right.

I had a friend with a 99 Civic drive my car and he said the clutch was heavy but I thought his 99 was too soft and not enough feedback.... so it's just a comparison. If you ever drive some American cars and tried their clutches, you'll most likely think the Civic clutch is very light.

So you are saying that tighter is better? Because I used to drive a Prelude (98 new) and it was soft and easy to drive....Sometimes my clutch is just doing "click click"s when I release it....

IDQcivic should not be trusted
try spraying some white grease near the clutch when you push it all the way down there is a hole on the top, spray some grease in there, also under the hood there is the clutch master cylinder to the left of the header, try spraying some grease under the rubber boot on the spring, maybe it just needs some lubrication... There was a thread about this floating around here some where....
