*****I need some quick help*****

Alrighty guys, I need to get my header off of a 2001 Civic EX. I'm running into a slight problem. The header nut on the drivers side (the right side if you're looking at it from the front) is stripped. I guess whoever had the car before stripped it. I need to get that nut off so I can pull the header off the car and put the new one on. I really don't care if I destroy the stock header or the nut, but the stud that goes into the block needs to remain intact. It's very tight, not much more than my index finger can fit down there. Any suggestions on how to get it off? TIA.

*I did a quick search and couldn't find anything.

WD-40. Lots of it.

Spray some on, let it set for a few minutes, spray some more on, let it set for a few minutes and so on. Try to wiggle the bolt a little each time, but not to hard, you don't want to snap to top off. Make sure to try and spray it up into the threads of the bolt as much as you can. You may want to replace that bolt, I know you sayed you don't want to, but I would. And be patient, if you rush you'll end up snappiing the bolt and having to buy new heads or get the hole rebored at a shop, either way sucks.

^^exactly. But if you really do not care too much about the old bolt or header just thread the other bolt back it(for support) then dremel the bolt off. Other wise like stated before just lube it up and go slow it should break free!
