No to both things. Your AC should drop your idle, then it should come right back up. The jerk thing...that sounds bad, maybe your clutch is slipping?

My car does that too sometimes when I just start it. I know it's not my clutch because I have a Clutchmasters FX100 clutch. Acually it does that sometimes when the AC isn't on. But only when I drive it right after a cold start.

Two problems. 1. stock idle without load is 700+/-50rpms. 2. Using the a/c should usually raise idle by 100rpms when its on.

Exactly, you shouldn't be idling that hgih to start. And when you turn on the AC the computer should sence a load and increase the RPM about 100 RPM, which should still be below 1000RPMS.
