you dont even need an A/F gauge. its just fancy little light show or what ever. Get something useful like Oil Temp so you know when your about to fry a ring or two.

if u have a wideband A/F guage you will need a new guage. There is a way to mod the autometers(cobalt ect) to have wideband readings and it is not just a light show.
Just so you know something k20txem2. Narrowband will only tell you if u are Rich, perfect, Lean. Thats it, there is no way you can really use it to make accurate adjustments.
A wideband w/a proper guage will be able to show how much you are really off in aspects of lean-rich. This way you can add/remove fuel to mix a perfect 14.8:1 ratio.
Do some research before misleading others, AEMs website provides a grafical explanation to what the diff between the two is, so you should head there. As for me, im not gonna go into much details bout it since I only have 1 hand to type w/since I had surgery on the other.

my narrowband gauge has the capability of being hooked up to a wideband sensor. Just depends on what gauges you have I believe, some or most will let you hook up your 100 dollar gauge to a real sensor. But its best to have everything to get a complete accurate digital readout.
