when you bought the car new, it should have come with a little card with a code for the stock HU.... if you bought the car used.......... well, go hunt the person that sold it to you.

it should be in your owner's manual folder. Not in your owner's manual, but in the thing that holds it.

Every deck has a different code, I'm not sure how many codes there are though. If you can't find that card, your going to have to go to Honda. The dealership can get you the code for the deck, but you gotta pay for it. I heard its pretty pricey too.

If you can't find your code, I'd suggest just buying a stock deck from someone else with the code. It'll probably be cheaper that way, instead of paying a Honda dealership for the code.

That code couldn't possibly be more expensive than a new deck. I couldnt see wasting that much money or effort when all the deck needs is a few punches of the preset buttons.

DAm. i have seen that card, so i hope i can find it. How about getting a after market cd player instead of stock one with code? I probably call my local honda dealer and ask how much it cost to enter the code. I hope it does not cost me arm and a leg. I try my mom civic car code. LOL. I think it will not work, but i give it a shot. Is there a site that offer code online, so i can try them? I not sure if i enter wrong code, it will lock me?

I heard it was like around $50 cdn to get the code. I don't know how much USD that is. I know you can probably pick up a used stock deck for $20-$30 cdn, so how is that not less??

I'm not 100% on the actually price of the code, but I know its pricey.

Yep you right. I heard they charge up to 100 dollar for a dam code. I read around and found some tips on finding the code
-Check your glove compartment
-The lid of the fusebox under the hood
-sticker in the trunk
Not all cars has them, but i give it shot. The sell code for 7.99 on ebay.

I'm not 100% on this but it could also be behind your stock cd deck. If you know how to pull it out quickly, I say go right ahead, you have nothing to lose.

the whole point of having the code is to make it harder for theifs to use the cd player and sell them so if its on the back of the cd deck then the code is pointless to have so its a waste of time pulling it out

also if they charge up to $100 for a code i would just go out and get an aftermarket one i liked for about that r a little more

The code is so if it gets stolen it cannot be used...hense security code they wouldnt put it behind the deck!!! Honda should not charge you to get the code all they needed for me was to see the deck, and my paperwork for the car!!!

How many digits are in the code? How big is the card? I'm having the same problem and I cant seem to locate the card.
