basically it has 4 wires. one goes to power, one ground, another goes to illumination, and the last one goes to the tach signal wire right by the battery, its a blue wire

1. you have an auto
and/or
2. you already have one in the car
then YOU ARE A RICER!!! PLEASE DONT RICE OUT A CIVIC!!!

then you have one. please b4 you f your car up dont do what i did. have a plan. dont turn your car into take out. find a finished product that you like and try to mod a whole car. dont do 1 piece because a guy had it on a eclipse and another piece you saw on a protege. not tryin to be **** just tryin to save you from my problem
