Rep Power: 0 A Pop, and wierd first gear? Help!?
Ok so when i accelerate every now and then there is a slight almost pop or click noise from the front right of the car. It happens to on occasion when I let off the gas.
But that is not my biggest issue.
Recently in the last week my first gear is all fawcked up. I start and when I punch it and get 1st gear up above 4500 the car bogs right around 5, then it launches forward. It almost feels like the VTec cant decide to kick in or not and when it does it hits really hard.
It only happens on occasion but lately its been happening more and more, any ideas?

I was only about 1k over my oil change and I called Honda the tech said that my VTec kicks in around 4-4500.
The reason i put this in is because i was on the highway and all of a sudden it shut off, then once it went under 4k it came back to life and drove fine. I brought it to my guy and the oil stick was dry! No leaks or smoke he said it could be a mix between heat and the fact that all cars use some oil to a degree cause its a liquid. I trust this guy very much, good work and quality. So he changed the oil and it is fine now. But my engine light is still on. I guess I should disconnect the battery to see if that gets rid of it.
