mobile product at the bottem will remove any moisture in the system, stop leaks in the system and replace any refrigerant oil that may have been lost as a result of leaks. This even for cars that are 2 years old

mine sucks alot, it has never gotten me cold. ive had one complain to turn it down, at night when it wasnt even needed. even though its usually 110 + here on a summer day in august, it should work better.
how about us people that live in phx az? when it takes forever to for the a/c to keep up let alone keep the inside of the car cold enoughwhen its 110+ here. mine is alright if it is just me in the car with all the vents pointed towards me!
...it's fairly hot here in TN, I don't have any problems with my A/c, it's cold almost instantly; in fact, it's colder in the civic than it was in my beast of a volvo s80. Could adding a CAI be a factor; I mean, you're supposed to be recieving more, colder air; right? just an idea.

ur 2 funny
AC works on compressing gasses causing them to become liquid, and cooling though a condensor that is right before ur rad if u look in the engine bay. Read up @ linky.. It has nothing to do w/ the intake system of a car.

Remeber this guys/gals, A/C is taking heat from inside your car and expelling to the out side. That's right, the it is actually removing heat from the air and putting to the outside of the car. With out getting into how refigeration systems work, the hotter it is out side the less effiecent your A/C is.
So A/C will not work as good when it is 110F compared to when it is 90F (given the same humidty, and yes humidty plays a roll in how good your A/C works too). It sucks because you need it more as it gets hotter, but that's just how the thermodynamics work
Your A/C just can not put more heat in to hotter air. Think of when you fill a tire, when the tire is really low (say like 10 psi), air moves really fast. Then as the tire inflates more, the air slows down and it becomes harder to push more air in to the tire as it becomes higher in pressure. The A/C works the same, it is taking heat out of your cabin and putting it into the enviroment out side (the out side is like the tire, as it gets hotter out side, it's like the tire getting fuller).

my ac for some reason only works in two modes.. On and off. its either spitting out freezing air or it doesnt work.. I try to make it go inbetween or less cold than it is I get a mad moisture problem! is it because I havent replaced my micron filter and im at 36 thousand miles?

^^^ I think you are saying you bought it new right?
Anyway, funky smell is generally 1. a fungus on the inside of the venting that has grown becasue of some small water collection or 2. a small leak in R-132 to air heat exchanger. It's probably number 1. What I would do is turn the A/C on all the way to max, roll down all the window on a hot dry day and drive for about 30 minutes to an hour on the free way. This should get the water/condinsation out. If this doesn't fix it, take it back to the dealer and complain, assuming it a new car it should be under warranty.

my dad's AC in his lexus smells like mildew when you turn it on...it makes me sick.
other than that, i recently had my AC recharged or replaced when honda had to do work on my front end. it seemed to work alot better after that...

even if it is new, i would double check the cabin filter for any kind of build up. Just remove the glovebox by sliding back the black clips ( full, accurate instructions in ur manual.

That's a good idea too, water can collect in there, although it is hard for mildew to grow on activated carbon, but it can happen.
