So I finally installed the Apexi WSII this weekend (and the AEM alternator pulley). Since the wife was yelling, I jumped in the car to rush home and didn't get the radio code out of the glove box. At about mid-throttle there is subtle a hiss that sounds like it's from the front which I am assuming is the intake (AEM SRI). Has this hiss always been there I just didn't hear it because I don't drive around without the radio on, or is it new due to the added exhaust?

i got the sam hiss when i put my intake on and i heard it even louder when i added a throttle body spacer plus the intake together it almost sounds like a turbo buildin up pressure on the blow off valve but it shouldnt be nothin to worry bout ive driven mine with that noise to miami and back and everything still running fine on my 05 civic

yeah i did the aem cold air but put only 1 piece on cause its auto and custom2.25 piping..mine is loud for a few min then goes down as soon as its warmer in the engine.....but does sound nice....people always credit me on that...though not fast

yea, I want my oem hiss back, but lost the 2 bolts for the stock bracket...........

To the guy with the tb spacer, which intake do you have and does it clear the hood? Feel any gains with it?
