It is a airbag indicator light.

somewhere a connector might have a came loose or diconnected..

Did you change out the seats or steering wheel?

also here is how to reset the srs light: http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=155251

Only time my SRS light ever seems to come on is when my battery is about to kill over O_o..

Im a mechanic for honda, we get this alot, most of the time a low battery can cause it to come on, if the battery tests good you should take it in and have them pull the trouble code with a scan tool, if the code is a hard code (meaning it wont clear from the air bag controll module) one of the components may have failed. we replace a lot of controll modules for internal failures on the 01 - 03 civics.

ok i had my srs light replaced 3 days ago. so take it to the dealership, they will tell you what is wrong. then they will tell you that its a accident light or if its an actual problem. its 3 things, seat belt tensioners, srs controller, or alternator running too high power. i had my srs control unit replaced. it took a couple days for them to get the part and install it. no biggie good luck

i bought my car and told the salesman that the light was on. i took it to a honda dealer and they took care of it, the salesman paying for it . the tech at honda said it was just a trouble code and he took care of it np.
