sun grounding kit vs DIY kit
http://www.sfxperformance.com/parts/SUNHG00001K.htm
i have spare 4 gauge power wire and terminals by stinger and wanted to know if i can use my stinger power wire instead of paying 50+ bucks for the sun ground kit type-s?
is there really any difference or what?
also, for those who have done it, where/how did you ground your points? better yet, which grounding points are best for greatest improvements?

bad deal. if you're spending that much on a grounding kit, i would go with buddy club's grounding system.

I got a kit from Harcore Tuning for less than $35 shipped. Starts much easier now.

i say DIY. it's just a small gauge wire with gold terminals that attaches to the negative terminal. how much "r&d" can go into wires?
I need TP for my bunghole

1. The chassi
2. The Head, use one of the coil nuts hold it down.
3. Alternator
4. Trans
5. Honda tuning once had, increase the gauge of wires to the fuel pump to increse performance of that part and decrease strain on the electrical system.

that fuel pump one sounds good has anyone done this i think i will do it but isnt the fuel pump at the back on car? do any of these kits have circular central grounding point? because thats a better design

^not major increase. but its more like giving the cars more potential.
i have a hyper voltage system which stablizes the voltage system, so that should help out even more along with the grounding kit. SUNS make the hyper voltage system and grounding kits as well. little performance is improved along with most electricals.
punkingcivic, is each and every one of those ground points conjoint (linked) together or use a seperate terminal for each ground point listed? i looked at the DIY on this site and it looks like its all linked together thus using 1 terminal to the negative battery post. =/

I feel that each component should have a direct link back to the battery.

I have an arospeed grounding kit from ebay. it has a central point on the frame, and five ground points to the engine bay. it works great with an optima red top battery.
