Alarm installed and won't work...?
you need to label which is which, #1 is lock or unlock, 2 is lock or unlock???
civic door lock required negative trigger. input ground to COM(30), and output NO(87) to doorlock (lock or unlock).

dont understand what youre stating here. that link is not the DIY, my DIY is somewhere in the DIY section or check my sig for the DIY on civic.
*2 The drivers door trigger is green, front passenger door trigger is lt. green/red, and the rear door trigger is green/white.
youre lookin for all of those wires, use diodes to isolate each triggers.

for whatever reason why they designed it like that, iono. but if its given individual trigger, you need to isolate them for its sake of principal. technically speaking, to leave everything stock as possible in everyway and not to alter any of the electrical design.
you can get a single trigger that catches all door at the guage cluster.

Door Trigger colors!
First you must isolate the wire from each door, you need to use a diode 1 Amp (1N4004 or 1N4007) Cathode (Band) Side Of Diodes Face OEM Wires, you can get these at Radio Shack.
Driver door=green
Front passenger door=Lt green/red
Rear Doors= Green/white
You can get this wires from a green plug under the steering column on your left (This plug should have a tape around on it) if you don't have an OEM alarm.
Plus theres some other helpful wires on that plug ready to be use for alarm like Trunk Pin,door locks, parking lights,Power, etc.let me know if you need more wiring code and some info about it.
A friendly advise from an Pro Installer.
Good Luck

What does the diode do and why do I need it?
Is it because I need to tap the one alarm wire into two seperate door wires?

A diode is sort of a 1 way gate of sorts it has an anode and a cathode (marked on the package when you buy them BTW) these are used to prevent signals/voltage from one section or circuit from feeding signals/voltage to another circuit.
A diode will allow voltage to pass one direction and not the other.
Please observe polarity (anode/cathode) when hooking up

ok my new alarm diagram... can someone explain which wires on the CN2 plug go into where on the car? Light output... Status output... wtf are these?
btw... what's the jumper for? I have an Auto so I'm guessing I have to cut it.
2000 points and rep points for whoever helps me... profuse i'm looking in your direction
Thanks!

#1 Light Output = go to you red/black wire for your parking lights
#2 Status Output = is to connect an Transponder Bypass for our cars "is a most part that you need" like 555U,555I or 555H from DEI or other brand to bypass our keys in order to our cars start.
#3 Ignition Output goes to the Black/Yellow under the Steering Column
#4 Accessory Output goes to Black/Red Under the Steering Column
#5 Starter Output goes to the Black/White the Steering Column
and the door trigger you can foud it on the right side of the steering column on a green plug.
So good luck and another friendly advise from a Pro installer.

So do I put:
CN1 - #2wire and CN2 - #1, both on the red/black parking wire?
CN1 - #7wire and CN2 - #3 on black yellow ignition?
same with CN1 and CN2 for accessory and starter?
Am I making any sense?
My bad I didn't pay to much attencion to CN1, CN1 is fine ,But anyway you have to use only on CN2 Ignition Output with a relay because our Civic has a second ignition, and the Status output to the transponder bypass.
You need a Relay and you have to conect it this way
#85 to Ign One (Black/yellow) under the steering wheel
#86 to Gr #3 from your alarm
#87 to the 2nd Ignition Black/Red
#30 to +12v
Good Luck

Anyone have any ideas?
The installer said I might have pinched the antenna wire... low and behold I did. So I cut out the section of wire that was pinched and reconnected the wires but it' still not working.
