whats up everyone!! i just installed an injen cai and there is a whistling noise that comes frome the intake somewhere. i was wondering if this is supposed to sound like that, or if i have a vaccuum leak? the noise only happens sometimes, and its usually when i am accelerating. anybody know what i can do?

its normal my injen SRI does the same noise when i acclerate. it goes away once you start to go faster

i think it's just air going through the filter, you can't hear it when the engine is on so much, that's why it sticks out when you turn the engine off. i like the sound.

This whistling noise is normal dude!, It's just that you have a bigger intake track, a bigger air filter, and no silencer...

That's why there's a resonator in the intake system, to keep quiet the induction note of the air passing through intake system.
