removing city light bulb on headlamp

i want to remove the small circle light bulb thats on the 01-03 civic headlights. would it be safer to disconnect the actual bulb from the headlamp or do it from the fuse box?

im pretty sure, cause once you flip the parking lights on, the amber will lit as thats considered the parking light.
the small bulb is more of a city light thing?

I just cut the red wire and left the bulb in. The whole assembly is just hanging below somewhere cause I have strobes in there now. I think it looks silly with that little bulb. Much nicer with just the amber corners.

and no, city lights are actually small 194 bulbs in the main headlight reflector. The one you mean is just another parking light.

what if you don't wanna sell it? But yea you could just pull the plug and leave the bulb and socket in place.

Red face

because gear, you make everything complicated :P
not cutting saves time putting it back to an original form without the need to do complicated things :P and its ez, pull, zip, done. I think you have an obsession with cutters and a soldering iron

LOL gear is one of those people who just loves projects, so it seems...
But wait a minute... My far corners are an ugly un-hyper-white, the light in the small circles are some kind of amber LED it looks to me. Would it be legal for me to unplug my extreme-corner lights?

well no because those are also turn signals. You could convert to a 7440 bulb that way it only flashes when turn signal is used. But you need some kind of parking light still.

Big Rob has a little shameless behaviour in the past
I'm too cheap to buy projectors, so I am using some xenon ultra whites for the headlight. I got sick of seeing the parking lights being a different color from by headlights so I went to autozone and bought some zenon 194s. Costed me $10.00. Why do you not want them on anyway? I disconnected them at first and it just made my headlights look empty.

zip to to another harness that is there.. headlight, or turn signal. It really doesn't matter.. I would cover it with e-tape so **** doesn't get in there.. di-electric grease is not required, but if you have it on hand then go for it.
