Resonator

Thats the big black box that connects to the air filter right......so is it need, should i take it off, what the hell is its point...just any input about intake would be hellfull.

From what i know if you remove your resonator it will free up the air flow and give u more
low to mid torque.... but it will kill ur high-end torque......

GTekCiViC... I would think you have that backwards-- better said, you would loose low torque and gain high HP. But there's probably almost no noticible difference either way, except maybe a little sucking noise at higher revs

Take it off and you will just get a funny noise. You are going to be pulling in hot air without it. Note that the intake is out there by the fender and that there are no obstructions in the stock airbox resonator. No reason to run without it unless you install a CAI or something like that.

When I firt got the car, I removed hte resonator because I though I would get more power, but what I really got was... Louder noise, engine vibration, and I felt that I lost power. I installed a cai and I solve the problem. Also, I just read in a site, this people ran a civic and It lost power when they removed the intake resonator.

actually you wont gain any power...it will make ur engine louder (trying harder to get air) and gas milage goes down
