As I was driving back to school Saturday night I had my cruise control on. As it started to get dark out I turned on my headlights. Upon doing this, the cruise control shut right off. I tried doing it 4 or 5 times and had the same problems.

Any ideas?

do you have led's anywhere in your car? I had replaced all my bulbs with leds a few months ago and when I did so, my cruise control stopped working. I replaced the leds with bulbs again and it started to work....that is my explanation! Hope I helped!

I actually have something similar happen to my C.C., the green light goes on/off randomly in the switch, plus my recirc/ac/defrost lights go on/off randomly. prob. just loose somewhere....if you go to a dealer be prepared to lose your car for a while and have a lighter wallet...

my rear defrost light goes off here and there... its just the light for the button, not showing that its turned on... kind of annoying
