My AEM pullies came with instructions, its really not that hard. I mean you can see everything that you need to do, its right there under the hood. Just remember where everything goes once you got it all unbolted and don't lose any parts! It sounds like you didn't get the instructions or maybe you don't even have them yet, but they are pretty good with pictures too!

I haven't installed them yet but I will definitly post when i do. From what i've heard they are supposed to add some HP and torque throughout the entire RPM band...

Beware of AEM Pulleys if you have a great sound system. I installed them and took them right off after I died at every stop light while using my stereo. So basically its $140 for the pulleys versus my $4k stereo system. I didn't even bother putting them on Ebay I tossed them into the deepest of my garbage in my closet. Along with the set of cheap azz Japanesse Lightbulbs that burned up on me.

AEM Pulleys fre up 1-2 HP depending on the load on your alternator... Ohhh 1-2 HP.. woweee!!!

1-2 hp is actually a big gain.
even installing exhaust header, and intake only adds about 5 hp if your lucky

but the AEM pullys add 2hp buy itself
so that to me is a pretty big gain

i have to say that its not just the alternator! if you put on a supercharger the pulley for that takes away nearly 15 hp just run the super charger, but you get a 55 hp gain! The pulley kit comes with 2 pulleys ! powers steering which takes more than 2 hp off your motor and the alternator which is more than 2 hp too! And the kits comes with 2 new belts and very detailed instructions! your gonna need a 3/8 or 1/2 inch impact gun and some large sockets to get factory pulley off alternator! I have the kit and i have 3 jl audio 10w6's and 2 rockford fosgate power series 800a4 amps and a cap. and my lihgts dont dim too much! And hey if you get 2-5 hp from pulleys it is a big gain cause we are driving such light cars! %0 hp gains on a 68 cobra 427 aint nothing because the car is so heavy! Dakota

I have a question, this problem about stereos and lights started when I put them on my mustang,
But... do they sell a pulley for the crankshaft? I mean installing just one pulley to eliminate the electric problem. I have this problem on my mustang and I don't want this problem on my civic. If my civic gains 2 or more, just with a crankshaft pulley, I would be happy...
