will this header bolt on to our D17?

This is stated to be for the D15-16 Civic + Del Sol (CRX).

Isn't the D17 and D16 use the same block? Would this simply bolt straight onto our engine?

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....sPageName=WDVW

If yes I will be bidding for this Item!

exactly. The d16 and before use a differnet bolt pattern on the head. Also with the suspension change in 2001 it will not clear. If you want a long header look for one for a 2001 and later d17. HP makes on and I have also seen copies on ebay.

that header will not work. look at the bolt patterns. we only have 5 bolts holding ours on and that one has a lot more than 5 and I can promise you the holes won't line up on the d17.

Yeah dont even bother with a shorty style header. You wont get any gains. It was dyno proven, I think in honda tuning, a while back. They are useless. I had the HP before my turbo and I could feel the gain. Actually I still have it outside gettin all rusty lol

To be honest without some sick *** setup any bolt-ons are a waste when 1200 dollars only adds up to about 6 hp you may as well not even try hehe. clutch and flywheel combos make for fun driving though, I guess I dont really consider them bolt-ons though.

um, the LX/DX sedan and coupe have the same motor...the EX sedan and coupe have the same motor....the number of doors has nothing to do with power if its a civic

yeah but on the lx sedan the three way Catalytic Converter is on the header the Kamikaze header replaces that meaning you have no Catalytic Converter I thought coupe was different....but i was wrong ...
