Question CD-Changer

Does anyone have any idea who manufactures the stock Cd player in the 04 VP?? I'm wondering because I was given an aftermarket Cd-changer and don't want to rip the center-console and everything apart to find out that I'm going to have to FM-modulate the damn thing...

im sure honda uses the same company for all radio's i remember it was a familiar name when i took mine out and looked. (or maybe i just thought i saw something) but anyways im not sure what do you mean by fm-modulate. is it that small box that you are suppose to moutn as far from the HU as possible?

Basically it means that instead of being wired directly into the stock head-unit the cd changer will send the info over the FM signals to the head-unit. I'd really rather not go that route...

the oem deck is made by alpine, i believe. time to go check mine.

EDIT: the deck is made by honda, or at least thats what it says. my friend with a 90 civic has a tape deck that says honda and mfgd. by alpine.
