Steering wheel removal
i'm considering on putting a racing wheel in place of my stock steeringwheel. any tips, ideas, or suggestion on replacing it? i'm not sure if unplugging it will mess with the ecu or how the electronics or sensors. any help would be welcomed....thank you in advance...

i believe it all models have airbags if im not mistakened, so be careful if you do take it off. as far as all the electrics go, your going to have to custom fit your cruise control switches if you have any. you dont have to mess with the turn signal switch. as for the horn, if the racing wheel doesnt allow one to be put on, then youll have to find a place for that as well.

Where I live, it is illegal to remove an air bag equipped steering wheel for one that doesn't have an air bag. Not that anybody checks, but if a cop pulls you over they will see the wheel, and a real ***** could ticket you for that, it's happened here.
