How do you get at your gauges?

I see 2 screws up top of the gauge housing. Take those out and then what? Seems like the bottom is still fastened on by something. (I hate just "ripping" things out)
And what after that? HOw do you take off the clear plastic cover once the housing is off?

You gotta put a flathead screwdriver underneath the bottom of the trim and pry it up. just be careful not to scratch anything. after that you should see some screws and its pretty easy on what to do from there....

You don't even have to use a screwdriver, just pull it out, it is connected by two clips, ut just pull hard at the bottom and it will pop off.
After that, the rest is self-explanatory.

Yup........just use your fingers to get in between (I started at the top of cover, where it arcs), then pull hard (after you remove the 2 screws first, of course). The first time you do any sort of mod, you probably have the tendency to be a bit ginger, but you will have to tug hard on that cover to get it out. After that, there are but 3 screws (two on the bottom left & right, one on top) to remove, and then you just unplug the 2 wire harnesses. Good luck!!!
