AT door lock Remotes

Does anybody know how to program the AT door lock remotes, bc i lost mine and Honda is charging me 100 cdn for the remote, and 18 for programming it. bringing the total to 118 plus tax.

So i was wondering does anybody know a cheaper way of replacing your remote? thnx

Good question. I dont have the remote for my car but ive heard that you can get the remote for $10 or so and then simply program it yourself possibly through your car radio. Is this right? anyone else know anything about this? Thanks.

I don't know that the instructions are in the manual, but programming is very easy. You can use any standard Honda remote like the ones you can get off of ebay. You can go to that Handa Accessories site and get the PDF of the instructions and look it up. It is a sequence of turning the key and pretting the button on the remote. It takes like 15 secs.

Hope it helps,
