Uh...do we have differentials?

Are cars are front-wheel , dual-drive axle drives.

If you are referring to manual tranny gear oil...yes. Redline at 27k (when I got my car)

Yes our cars have differentials. They are located inside the transaxle.

Front wheel drive cars have the differential built into the tranny, but the whole unit is called a transaxle.

Rear wheel drive cars have a tranny connected to a driveshaft, connected to a differential in the rear to steer the rear.

All wheel drive cars have a differential in the front and the rear.

yup, i changed my transmission oil (10w30) when i installed my clutch last month. Kinda point-less when i changed it, cuz when i drained the trans, the oil that came out was just as clean as what i put in.

The driveshaft is connected to the Rear-End, aka "3rd member", which houses the rear differential for the rear drive axles. You're right, but i just wanted to add my .02

Too add, 4-wheel drives cars have transfer cases. All wheel drive cars do not.

Try reading your owner's manual sometime. Lots of good info in there.
