Bought a new part today
Well, today I went to honda and bought a new part. I got the alternator belt for a DX Civic. I'm going to be taking out my A/C so I got this part as the replacement for the factory one that is for A/C and alternator. I'm also going to be taking out my power steering and plan on doing a loop-back for the power steering rack so fluid stays in.
I guess I'm doing this to see what kind of difference it might make as funds are tight right now for a K20 swap. I'll be saving up to do one next year but in the mean time this should help me keep up with other people for the summer.
I'll post some pics of the process and completed project.

Assembly plus hose and tax was $51. I gotta find a reservoir now and some time to install it. I've been batting this idea around for a awhile and all of the positive response on Honda-Tech is making me want to do it more!

I've been reading the Honda Tech posts too and want to do the loop back. From what I've read, I need a short piece of power steering line, some brass fittings, splice a T into the hard line and some kind of resivoir.

Sure it's a small gain, but the cars are so small and light that ps isn't needed. I've been driving around for months now with the ps belt off, and the only problem is parking. Looping the lines should aleviate some of the difficulties. It won't be as easy to park as having ps, but my Grandma doesn't drive my car and my wife can actually drive (no offense to anyones wife, girlfriend, female acquantance...).
Well, pieces are still sitting on my desk. I haven't found a breather yet but I am hoping within the next week or two I'll get off my lazy butt and do something!
I haven't heard from CarbonFiberSi. He was going to install a loop with the stock reservoir forever ago but I never heard back from him.
