It might just be your ecu telling you that the air/fuel mixture is not normal. Since now you're getting more air than you used to. It takes the ECU a while to reset itself. OR you can do it by disconnecting the neg terminal off the battery for 15 seconds. If that doesn't solve the problem, then it was the black thingy.
if you can't reset the check engine light by unhooking your battery, then i hope your're due for an oil change! get your car into honda as soon as you can, just tell them your check engine light came on...don't tell them it happened after you installed your sri...ask them to check the error code, it will tell them exactly what the problem is, they won't charge you for this as long as you do it while you're getting other work done...its probobly nothing and they will reset your ecu for you, takes two seconds, or they will tell you, that you have some sort of problem and then you can decide how you want to take care of it from there...... if you think you might have messed up a sensor, then put your stock box back together and make the whole set-up look like you never took it apart, then go to honda and play dumb....they will have to fix any problem under warranty.....

I know I had put on the SRI correctly at first and used it with no problem for three full days..
however I baught a new set of tightners so the rubber holder part would be super tight..
and thats when i disconected that black electronic plug..
right after.. I started the car with it NOT connected.. saw the check engine, realized I forgot to plug it back in right away
.. but didnt think it'd cause such an effect...
Guess thats that eh? Or am I confused?
hehe Thanks once again guys.
