Some people have a bung welded to the header so that they can install a sensor for the a/f gauge. At least that's what a friend did with his WRX.

you can do splice into the wire that goes into your ecu that takes the signal from the o2 sensor. you just need to find out which wire it is.

or make ur own o2 sim for 5 bux....(should be the same size, this was done on a 03 Si)

OK.....so, that means that the air/fuel gauge gets the info from te O2 sensor, right?......does it matter if u have a sim or the engine light on????? will the readings of the gauge be correct?...

If you have a sim, which by its design replicates a voltage corresponding to an ideal air/fuel mixture, then your gauge is useless if you tap to those wires.
