Well, I'm just looking to get ridda my a/c so i can run IC piping correctly. You got a DX belt eh? Is that necessary for heat?
no, heating is on an independent system.
as far as belts, try autozone. ask someone here to find spec on that belt and match it.

only bad thing about doing that is you will only have one heat setting. Which will be hot at all times.
And you live in florida, why would you want to remove the AC? you are going to burn up in the summer. It isnt going to do much if you are trying to lose extra weight. You wont even gain any power.

Nah, I'm removing the A/C to get a correct I/C piping setup for show purposes. I never use the A/C for cooling because I always have the windows down, it dosent get THAT hot in Flroida (19 years of living here), and I only use the ***** to turn on the heat during the winter, and usually i want it hot, because I get cold easily LOL. Not for weight gains btw. Thx for your concern though. So basically I'll have either no air flowing (most of the year) or the heat on mad hot (winter)? Those will be my 2 settings w/o A/C?
you can still adjust the heat. the cold setting will be roughly the same temp as the outside air. I know this because a have the a/c removed. Its the same as just having no a/c from the factory. The only bitch i have is that without the a/c the windows defog slower because the air is more humid.

LOL word to that, I've never had a car w/o A/C thoguh thats why im confused about this
yeah its not big deal. I drive around with the windows down. I hate running the a/c and I hate having the windows up when Im crusing. It does get hot sitting around the staging lanes at the track though. Even with em down.

Ok, so can anyone give ,e the number belt i need to buy when i take my a/c out? the dx belt?
There are only 2 possible alternator belts for our cars to my knowledge. Go to the parts store. Tell them you need (whatever year your car is) civic alternator belt in a DX with no a/c and they should have one. When you get out to your car just make sure they didnt give you the same one(the long one). You need the short one. If its still wrong bring it back, kill the counterboy, and go somewhere else. lol If you explain what you are doing they should help you out.
