What is the correct lash for a 1.7 vtec sohc "03"

seat angle = 45*
face angle = 45*
stem to guide clearance(in.) = .0008 - .0020 (INTAKE)
= .0020 - .0031(EXHAUST)
stem diameter(in.) = .2157 - .2161 (INTAKE)
= .2146 - .2150 (EXHAUST)


all the valve specs i could find for the vtec's
got it out of chiltons repair manual for imports.

are you wanting the specs for a valve adjustment or for the clearance of the valves?

Intake VL 7 - 9 thousandths .007-.009 Exhaust 9 - 11 thousandths Make sure you check them while the followers are completely on the back of the cam lobes, also make sure to double and tripple check because the screws tend to move a lil when you tighten the locknut. I made a special tool for it but its not a big deal really.
