well, i guess the logical answer to the color would be the one that matched your interior the best.
the front rsx seats are pretty easy to install. of the 4 bolt holes, only 3 actually line up. the 4th hole isnt aligned with where the screw goes. in order to take care of this, you have file down the hole, enlarging it until the bolt goes in. some people dont even put the bolt in and just drive around with 3, but i dont think its as safe.
the back seats are more of a hassle. only the bottom portion of the seat bolts on. and the back rest portion of the rsx seats will have to be "customized" in order to fit. thats because the rsx seats are 50/50 split, and our civic has 60/40. in order to make them fit, you have to trim the seat foam a little bit and even have to hack off the metal piece that holds your seats in place (its hard to explain). so, i dont think the back is really worth the extra effort because its no simple task. i've asked around shops how much it would cost to re-upholster the back rest only, and it aint cheap. it ranges from 300-400!!!! which i find ridiclous...

I know how to put them in i already had some (the front that is)..... this is my second or third time around with the civic ...... well if its not worth it to re-upholster the back then wouldnt i want to do the rsx seats?......Do u know anyone that has put the rear seats in the back or anyone that could help me i have all the tools (air tools) that we would need.........And i have tan seats now but i also have black on the inside thats why i was asking what would go better........Cuz the tan doesnt really match the tan on the inside of my car

I think HondaLuver had put the rears in too, and he had a hell of a time with it if I recall correctly. Honestly if you're chopping up the rear like that, the change will be irreversible, and cutting off metal pieces I'd be frightened of things flying forward should you hit the brakes hard enough or get in a collision.

Yea they could...money being no object. Custom work gets expensive. And those match pretty good anyway. I say just leave it.

i have the same seats in my car in the same color. i think it matches the interior pretty nicely, though its a little darker. thats because the seats arent tan, they're titamium colored (tan and grey mixed). if you can find the tan seats, they they're lighter in color, but they're pretty hard to come by.
Greg from hondawerx has done it to two civics before so he should be able to tell you how to do it. but like Telly said, its irreverisible, which is why i'm not gonna do it.
if you get your seats re-upholstered by catzskins, then the color that matches the titanium seats is called "puddy." i already check this out before when i was gonna do it, but its too damn expensive.

for just the back seat rest (not the bottom), to get them reupholstered into the same color and perforated (little holes in the leather to match the rsx seats) they wanted to charge me $400!!!
the guy said "yeah, i know its expensive, but its custom, etc." hell yeah that is expensive, i got the fronts shipped to my house with side airbags for $470.

I have black front and rear. I converted the rears to fit in the civic. it takes a bit of work, but its way cheaper than having someone cover it. plus, its a spot on match.

those seats are from a '01-'04 rsx i believe. the '05s are more plush and supposedly holds you in more, and even have higher side bolsters.

i'm not aware of the rsx seats being heated of any sort. at least not in the US... all i have connections for are the seat belt and the side airbags.

Talk to 909 about the heating elements, not hard to hook up at all (ofcourse hard for me)

all you need is either the OEM switches (will cost you around $70 EACH from honda/acura) or you can buy 6 lit rocker swtiches and do a clean install. Ill take pics next time im workin on the car.

I have RSX I beleive type S not sure what year but not 05 in black leather and there HEATED HEATED HEATED. Wouldnt have leather any other way especially here in Canadain winters.

I just hope it doesnt lower my sperm count

and to answer your questions, yes they fit, as any seat that can acually fit through your door will fit, its just a matter of making custom sliders so you can slide em.
