Question about the coolant level on a warm engine...
Hey guys,
The other day I was checking the levels of all my fluids in the engine bay to make sure everything is in order. My coolant level was at the right maxium level.........on a cold engine as I haven't driven the car that day.
Well today after driving around town, I popped the hood to see the levels of the fluids on hot engine & noticed the coolant level is at the minimum line.
Why is this? So tommorow morning, when I pop the hood, will the coolant level be back up to the maximum level? Hope to hear some suggestions. Thanks!

coolant absorbs heat, so when its warm, theirs still coolant flowing thruout the entire engine to heater core back to radiator. when its cold, coolant doesnt absorb and stays at normal filling level.

Overheating or loss of coolant, heater blowing cold
