98-01 Accord Trunk Opener with 04?

Has anyone installed the 98-01 Accord Trunk Opener with a 2004 2dr civic si(canadian version) so it'll be the ex for US.
I got a new alarm on my 04 and it have the trunk release option on the remote so i'm planning to pick one up in seattle since it's discontinued in canada.
I don't want to just drive down to seattle to find out that it doesn't fit.
the part # is P/N: 08E49-S84-101H

If you're in Canada anyway, why not save yourself some gas moola and pick up an Acura EL latch and remote release assembly from an Acura dealership?

i'm going down to seattle in a week or 2 anyways and the accord trunk latch is cheaper than the EL trunk latch.
anyways.... has anyone done the diy on a 04?
