STUPID transmission question

i searched but couldnt find the answer to this. i need to change my transmission fluid. WHERE on the transmission housing is the drain plug?

the drain plug should look like a bolt with a square hole on it.. you use a ratchet, (forget what size) to take it out... might be a 1/2 inch drive? dunno sorry =\

hotrodcivic2004 should not be trusted
ok i found it. i dont quite get why honda puts it an inch from the subframe in a very very inaccessible place. my ratchet head was almost to big to fit between the nut and the frame. anyways thanks guys.

where do u dispose of automatic transmission fluid? i need to do a fluid change on mine but dont want to spend the extra cash and go to the dealer when i can do it myself.

Most municipalities have a place to drop off auto fluids. Put it in a sealed container and bring it down to them...

i take it to a shop down the street and drain it in their oil hole

I got the same problem as yours. Can anybody tell me the trick?
