where's my distributor?
I don't know I think I found a site that had an iginition upgrade for 7th gen it said like Nology Wires, high temp distributor cap, and like an MSD ignition. I have run MSD 6A ignitions on a couple of my cars, and they are hot.
It's funny my first 6 years in the army I was a Mechanic, If I could have only found where my iginition wires plug in, i wouldn't have had to ask the question. Honda did a really good job of tubing, and taping anything electrival in my engine compartment.

Yes I was a turbo diesel mechanic for the army from 1987 to 1994, but none of my trucks had any similarity to a civic whatsoever with the exception that most of them were manuals, and had aircleaners.

Those are the most pointless things in the universe
Lets purify the air, until the next time we roll down the window
Anyhoo... Are there any passenger cars out there that still use a Distributor Cap ??? I know my 93 Probe did.., you know I can't recall if my wife's 99 neon has one ..
Honestly it's not that evident that it is a DIS system, it is not on the invoice, and the stock airbox covered most of the engine. I know the Honda engineers are some sneaky little guys, but you'd think the DIS would be a selling point.
I have a 1969 VW Bug at home Cal Style 1915 CC Engine, Old School, it's fast, it has a distributor, I have added a pointless ignition to that, which is pretty cool, the car flies, but needs a lot of work.

If you were a mechanic you should of noticed it was a DIS as soon as you opened the hood.
