Torque specs for manual tranny fluid change?
thanks, well, I think I have it tight enough then, as I did the bottom one around 30 and the top around 35. I hate the feel of those crush washers, as you never know if it's the crush washer doing it's job or if it's stripping. I wouldn't think with a crush washer it would be too easy to strip out the threads though...as the washer would just keep crushing.
thanks,
Paul
thanks,

just snug them up and you'll be fine. torques on things like that don't have to be exact. the only things that should be exact are head bolts, cam bolts, crank & rod bolts, clutch bolts,....you know, things that move and have bearings. everything else, just tighten/snug them up.

how many miles do you have? the tranny fluid doesn't have to be changed for a while. I think its like 60k miles. I hope you don't have that many miles already...lol. just pull the drain plug, let it drain, snug it back in, fill it back up with some 80w-90 gear oil, and snug the fill plug back up. that's it....pretty simple. don't worry about the "honda tranny oil" its just there for you to buy more honda stuff. just like ford and the motorcraft oil, not required. the "honda tranny oil" smells just like 80w-90 gear oil....hmmmm...imagine that.
