Where is the starter located?

Just wondering where the starter is located at? According to the manual, it says the starter is in front of the engine, but I dont see it, someone tell me where it is please?

it sits on top of the tranny bell housing if I remember correctly

Its mounted above/on the bellhousing on the passenger side of the engine.

I think its on top of the bell housing, but toward the firewall . like next to the intake manifold I think. I haven't gone looking for it cause I haven't had any problems with it. it you are having problems with the starter already, that sucks. I know its not on the front, and not on the bottom, just look for a bigg cylinder thing with wires going to it and its mounted to the bell housing pointed at the engine...lol

passenger side of the engine directly under the water passage on the head.
If you have a cai it is easy to spot.

That makes perfect sense. You do kinda have to look for it...especially if you have a stock airbox on Do you need to replace yours?
