rear lip problem

hey guys, i have a type a rear lip, and i installed like 2 days ago, but today, i just found out that the abs plastic is melted where the exhaust is, and i was wondering do u think its a good idea to cut that specific part of the lip or if i should do something else... need some suggestions.. thanks

I had to lower my exhaust. ^the metal plate would just get hot and transfer to the plastic. Check member's ride.

lowering your exhaust is our best bet.

My exhaust sags for that reason and I hate it. I thought about cutting a spot in the OEM bumper for the exhaust tips, but not sure hoe I could do that myself w/out ruining it all.
