Transmission Coolers?????

I know what they are and what they do I just want to know which one does everyone have. I seen a few pics like the JMO and the HAyden one and I was wondering if other people that have then can take some pics and post them up for all to see and tell us which kind yall have. Can someone also do a FULL (pics and all) DIY on one.

are you standard or automatic? cause it's only for auto, standard doesn't do anything...

from my past experience, i'd go with hayden, pretty good stuff

Yeah that's what I have. Nice and small, but still good. I only paid $50 for it and the install was fairly simple. I just wedged it between the radiator and condenser and ran the hoses. Better than nothing.

soooo super easy to put on.. i use to be a manager at uhaul.. i did like 4 a week.. should take you more than like 20 minutes since its yer first time..
just put yer car up on some ramps.. or block of wood whatever so that you can get under it and have a lil room to work..

stick the cooler wherever you wanna put it.. (on the side of the radiator is best.. not in the center cuz you want yer radiator to get as much air as it can.. the transmission should get what it can but dont sweat it too much) cut the extra tabs off the back or they will hit yer fan and make all sorts of noise and when they finally snap off they could get snagged by a belt and possiably cause some damage..
run the new lines to where they need to go.. then just pop off one end of the stock line and put yer finger over the hole while you angle the hose up to keep the fluid from dripping out.. put the new hose on.. then just do the same on the other side.. dont worry bout the clamps till yer done the hose will hold itself on for now..

dont over tighten the clamps and just check yer levels after cuz you will have to add a lil bit..
and yer done.. tada
rubber gloves make it easyer cuz tranny fluid is slippery on rubber
its one of the easyest things you can do on a car.. all you need is a screwdriver and some snips/toenail clippers
