Steering Wheel Noise

Recently, my steering wheel tends to make some "ee ee" noise only when turning left or right on some occassions. Any bros hv similar problem and how to rectify it ?

fi dx is an unknown quantity at this point
i think if you have air in your power steering lines it makes that noise....i'm not sure though...but to bleed it out...open the power steering reservoir and turn the wheel all the way left and all the way right a bunch of times until the air bleeds out

Mine's an electric power steering, so no steering reservoir. Really beats me cos it only comes on at times after driving for a distance..

Is the noise louder or quieter (more quiet) (whatever) inside or outside the car.

Break out the KY .. I mean WD-40 ... yeah yeah... WD-40

The noise is the same and it's coming directly from under the steering wheel inside the car !! Strange thing is that it comes on only after driving for some distance.

Well jack up the front end of your car. have some one start turning the wheel and stick your head down there and find the spot. Then tear it apart and lub it up.
