Door handles

Does anyone know how to take off the trim around the door handles on the interior of the car? I want to paint them.

yeah u pop out that little thing inside the handle on the flat part on the inside and theres a screw, unscrew it

It's exactly like psuedo said, you take a small flat head screwdriver, or a very thin knife, you pry out the little cover inside the handle, take out two screws - (+) shaped, presto the piece comes out. You just need to detach the clip from the rod that actually opens the door. Takes less than 2 minutes. If you have power locks, you need to unscrew the power lock switch on the drivers side. That's it.
