Undo Battery Or Not
Just a silly question, why do a lot of the installation instructions for parts tell you to remove the wiring from your battery and in all of the DIY's i see, they never talk about it. Just wondering because, if your not messing with any of your electrical equipment, why would you need to undo the battery? Also, if you disconnect it, when you reconnect it, do you have to idle the engine for a time or anything?

Disconnecting the battery is just a precaution.... this way you don't blow any fuses or fry anything. It also resets the ECU... so if you do disconnect it... just let it idle for a couple of minutes afterwards then you're good to go.
