Question about Torque Wrench
Question about Torque Wrench
Hey guys,
We all know how important torque wrenches are when working on our cars so today I got me one.
The one I bought is in in/lbs. My question is: To convert it to ft/lbs I simply divide the applied torque by 12 right?
Example: Desired torque: 240in/lbs = 240/12 therefore = 20 ft/lbs right?
Please don't laugh; if I'm mistaken let me know.
Thanks in advance.
Mike
