short ram intake

I just dropped in a K&N filter, would it make a difference if I took off the resenator box and ran it like that, or does a short ram intake actually do something in this situtation?

Throw away the K&N, and leave the intake intact. It's made that way for a reason.

What he said is he dropped in a K&N, which I assume means the panel filter in the stock airbox.

Do not remove the factory resonator and leave it open because then you will be sucking up hot air. You can do what I just did and custom make a CAI using the factory airbox, some piping, and flexible hose.

I left my stock resonator on to and it still makes the diffrence in the amount of air goin to the engine and the tempature of it but I wondered that as well.
