Fast turn signal

All of a sudden today my left turn signal started going insane. It blinks very fast while the right is normal. Any idea's what sparked this?

not sure but at least on my dad's '97 camry, it means that maybe one of the other signal bulbs are burnt out or maybe the light fixture is loose or somethin... not sure if this is the case.

its either loose, or the bulb is burnt out. Just look at it with the blinker on. it isnt a hard problem to fix.

^^ yup, one of your other bulbs are bad, it is letting you know. I thought my one side looked pretty tight when that happened to me, but if somebody saw my other side after that, they would think i'm a dork.

Yes one bulb is out. It blinks faster because once a bulb burns out there is less resistance of operating that bulb on the relay. Thus creating the working bulb to blink faster and that is transfered to your turn signal.

its either one of the bulbs or something with the wiring...it could also be a fuse...check em all and you should find your problem :-)

yep, thats exactly whats wrong. its a tell-tale sign that you have a blown bulb. the exact thing happens in my toyota pick up. its a pretty good feature too...better than getting pulled over to find out!
